I'll copy the whole thing. Basically, they were interviewed by an AP staff member, and people got to write in questions on the boards. Jason Tate (Owner of AP.net) asked the following questions:

Did your parents give you 1/2 million to start your band?
What happend with your old manager?
What happend with the dude you kicked out of the band?
Did squire lock you out of the studio?
Did FBR tell you to have this image?
Do you think you're clever?
How much autotune is used on the new album?
Do you think you deserve what you have?

Someone from CIWWAF replied with this:

We fired him because he was posting myspace bulletins about our friends bands, saying how shitty they were. I still talk to him, we hang out occasionally. He also assumed we were going to fire him once we inked.

We kicked Chris out because he lived 45 minutes away and never came to practice. It just wasnt working, he understood. We're all still extremely close friends with Chris.

Now for my question...
Where the **** do you come off? I'm 17 years old, and am in a signed band, touring and living out my dream, and I come to this website and see some asshole constantly making unnecessary comments. I don't appreciate it. You sit behind a computer all day, Tate. You're not special, you're not cool. You are CERTAINLY not better than any band that is posted on this website. So stop picking on a 17 year olds band, what are you, like 35? Get a ****ing life.

And then Tate replied with this:

How is your last statement really a question? I see two question marks, and so I'll address them both. Where do I come off? Well, I have a personal opinion. That's where I come off. I may be wrong to think this but I don't agree with how your band isn't honest with your intentions about what your band is: a way to make money. I'm fine with bands selling-out, 100% okay with it, but what I don't like is bands that pretend to be "indie" or stay "scene" and hide behind this guise when it's obvious they have other intentions. That's where I "come off" - I think your album sucks, I think your image is manufactured, and I think you try to hard to be everything you'll never be. If you want to be the next Click Five, that's fine - but at least be honest with all the kids you're trying manipulate. That's where my problem lies. Second answer, I'm 23, not 35. And when I was 17, I didn't have half-a-million dollars. I'm 23 and don't have 1/4th of 1/2 a million dollars. The difference here, my friend, is that I don't think I'm "special" or "cool" - I'm just me. However, what I do have going for me is that I don't need my record label to tell me who to be or parents to buy me my dreams.

P.S. I heard from a direct source that Shannt was locked out of the studio. Auto-tune most certainly was necessary (and used) for the vocals on this album - a) I can hear it on those horrendous layered background vocals, b) It still sounds off.

The thread got more than 1,000 posts, and apparently CIWWAF are making a public statement about the whole thing. It's all kinda petty if you ask me, and I agree with Tate 100%. But I got a laugh at how seriously some of the members there can take this

Tate did really well. Came off funny but not just rude. But tbh CIWWAF are pretty young and it must be hard taking that much sh!t from people on the internet so you can kinda forgive them fro snapping like that. They could have just done it in a more witty and less whiny fashion.
