So yesterday was a wery weird day for me. My father bought me a new laptop for my birthday. I'm soon to be 20 Hooray for that.

Anyway. I went crazy and went to see a few local musicstores around here (I came to visit my father I don't live here) and I found a didge in there. I've wanted one for a quite a while, but now I found one I could buy right away.

Now I just have to learn how to play it too. I can get the basic drone sound out of it and add a bit color to it, but not more. I've wached a few videos of people playing and they seem to get wery high tones out of them, but when I try it's wery low all the time.

The didj itself is 60" (Any idea what tone that is?) and I think it's made out of eucalyptus, but I'm not sure, might be some other tree too. I need to go back to the store and ask.

So any tips? helpful videos? recommended music? anything that might help me out.

I think he's referring to your mispelling of 'very'. Some Chinese people say 'wary' instead of 'very'.

A quick googling turned up this: http://aboriginalart.com.au/didgeridoo/dig_background.html

Okay. I try to remember the spelling from now on.

I found that site myself too, but it doesn't really help, since I don't have anything that plays those .ram files there is.

my didge is around 60" long too, and its roughly a Bb note, the same as the lowest note of a tuba. in hindsight i wish i'd gotten a much smaller didge to learn on, because the technique seems much less cumbersome on a smaller piece where you're dealing with less air volume...

We had a Didgereedoo player in my band for a while that was fun.
We put it through effects pedals and made really crazy sounds.
