Check out Oh, Sleeper! It's a band that The Terminal and Between the Buried and Me made and they have two tracks recorded!

i didn't really like it at all, i don't like between the buried and me that much either, but btbam has way cooler guitar

Yeah, Oh Sleeper is a different breed. I like them because they are fairly original.

Sounds pretty generic to me. They remind me of As Cities Burn except ASB are much better and more original.

Yeah...I can see how you could make that comparison. Because they have a mix of yelling/screaming. ACB are really good especially their guitar work and lyrics.

You can't just ignore the fact that they are GOOD though, just because you think they sound familiar to ACB.

i don't think they sound similar to ACB really. i listened to a flagship and it was a lot more interesting than the first song.

Yeah the other song is pretty boring in my opinion, but To Flagship has some cool guitar work in it and has a pretty cool feel overall.

Well considering that there is no elements of hardcore or emo, I'd say it belongs in rock and metal a lot more than it does in hardcore/emo. Especially when the band calls themselves metal/rock.

Yeah but a lot of metal fans just listen to stuff like Lamb of God, Children of Bodom, Chimaira, Black Dahlia, and then all that older metal.

I love Oh sleeper, and I don't think they sound typical or like As Cities Burn at all. Even though ACB is my fav. band. My friend is obsessed with these guys. I'm hoping that The Armored March EP is gonna be good, although it will be a bit dissapointing cause theres only two new songs, but they are really good. I hope that they get some variety in their music though, so far all their songs sound similar. Btw, do you know of an ACB thread? If there isn't one then I think we need to start one.
