EMG P/J set

im thinking about getting a emg p/j set for my bass...what do u think of them? are they any good?

I think it's a great pickup set for just about any style. Obviously, you can't get a real gritty old-school tone, a bass with EMGs in it can cover just about any style you need. I had the PJ set in an old BC Rich bass back in the day that I played in a rock/metal setting and it sounded perfect. I have the P pickup in a P bass I play now (same P as in the PJ set) and I use that bass in a funk/blue band as well as a hard rock setup. Great pickups. If you can fit it, run em at 18V though, even if it means adding an extra battery box or something. Trust me.

thanks man i wasnt shure if it was worth the money but hey anything should be better than the ones i have now
