Yamaha Magicstomp (pretty urgent)

So has anyone actually used one of these?
There are a few pretty heavy players on the endorsee list, and in paper it's sweet.

I can get one tomorrow for a very good price and I have been looking for a recording/silent-practice/church DI solution, but one thing worries me.

All the reviews talk about an "online community for sharing patches" and all that stuff, but when I go to the www.magicstomp.com website, there's just a couple patches from 10 artists, and nothing else. What's the deal?

Does anyone have one/know how to access this "community?"

I can't find it either. Just not enough users to create an organised community yet.

Yeah, it's just really dodgy advertising, I suppose.

My bass teacher has one of these. You can get some pretty cool effects, and the patch system is a bonus. I think you need a special disk that comes with the pedal to access the community.
