Martial/Military/Marching/Industrial. Loads of war samples. My favorite band of the genre.

All you need is Godflesh.

A Raymond Watts project; undoubtedly the best industrial around. It's extremely dark, has symphonic/jazz elements, along with the usual slew of mechanized, grinding drumbeats and distorted guitars.

I personally like his album Sinsation, but anything by him should be good. His albums can be hard to track down, so if you want I could send it over AIM to you or perhaps YSI it.

I'm about to leave for the day for a wedding, but I could possibly do it tonight or tommorow. Let me know.

Megaherz is probably one of the best industrials bands that I haven't seen mentioned yet. It's in the same vein as Rammstein(plus they're a German group), so if you like that at all, check out Megaherz.

Rammstein aren't really industrial anymore. From Mutter onwards they've made more epic sounding songs rather than hard hitting industrial/dance metal songs like Du Hast, sehnsucht, DRSG and Heirate Mich.

Celldweller
Eh, if I'm listening to Klayton, I prefer Circle of Dust. Celldweller is still pretty cool, though.

Skinny Puppy, NIN and Ministry are more "industrial" than Rammstein and Fear Factory ever were and will be. So your statement only proof that you don't know anything about WHAT Industrial is.

btw. Fear Factory and Rammstein are (imo!) the worst examples for Industrial. 1) they make Industrial-metal and not pure Industrial
2) they are good, but nothing special.

well dude, i never heard fear factory or ramstien..... i said that i was gonna check them out meaning i know vertully nothing about them..... however im a huge fan of NIN or Skinny puppy.... even though NIN i think is getting less industrial with that last album.... but yes your prolly right.... when i first heard that ramstien was industrial my first reaction was "WTF?" but i guess a lot of people claim that they are.... so i thought id go and check em out.... and then they all say the same thing about fear factory.... but keep in mind i do know what industrial is....

ah... sorry dude... i thought that you meant that you don't like skinny puppy and NIN (they are piece of ****) and the only bands you like are Fear Factory and Rammstein.
i'm sorry that i misunderstood you.

and i agree with you that NIN isn't as much insdustrial as it was in NIN's former albums like TDS, PHM and Broken
