i made one of these a while ago and got some negative comments cause it was too early in the year for a line up of good concerts..

so, what concerts will you be going to this year?

Me... Warped Tour, Ozzfest, Red Hot Chili Peppers w/ Mars Volta, Shindown w/ Trapt, Evans Blue and some local bands (im friends with one of the opening acts), Blue October, 311...

plus lots of local show's, and all the show's i'll be playing :chug:

next friday marcus miller and stanly clarke, the next day moe.

I thought they were playing at the same time, as someone on TB said Marcus was playing with a band at the same time as Stanley was playing a TRIO show. Either way, it's awesome, Stanley Clarke kicks ***.

I'm going to see Joe Satriani in a couple of weeks, and then in October I'm going to see Level 42, got 4th row tickets in both shows.

20 June - Destroyer Destroyer, Thriller, Me and Him Call It Us, & Wreck This!

I'm excited for Destroyer Destroyer and MAHCIU. I've only heard a little from Thriller, though.

6 July - From A Second Story Window, Cattle Decapitation, Misery Index, Animosity, & Job For A Cowboy

14 July - The Number 12 Looks Like You, Heavy Heavy Low Low,& The Jon Benet

3 Sep - Suicide Silence, All Shall Perish, Too Pure To Die, Light This City, & Nights Like These

I stopped going to so many shows in my area beause there are so mnay bands that are just rubbish, and there really aren't any good bands that come through anymore. :(

But from 16 July to 26 August, I'm going to be over in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and there's a bunch of bands that I love that are from there, so I need to check out some shows while I'm there.

So far this year I've seen Trivium, Silverstein, Goldfinger, We Are Scientists, Hundred Reasons, Taking Back Sunday and Thursday (on a Thursday, no less). Next Friday - Sunday I'll be at Download (highlights = Tool, Metallica, Sikth, Alice In Chains, Billy Talent, The Prodigy), then a couple of days after that Tool (again), then a couple of days after that Foo Fighters w/ QOTSA and Motorhead. Oh, and RHCP in July. Not a bad year, all in all.

Well, a lot of those were all at the same gig (Give it a Name - about £30), Trivium and Thursday were about £15 each, Download was about £150, Tool was about £40 and RHCP was about £50. Which is roughly $550, plus I'm sure the train tickets, food, and other "essentials" probably cost quite a pretty penny as well.

And f**k your pounds. I'm too self-conscious about my weight already, I don't need more pounds to tack on.

Man, I'd love to see Goldfinger. It good?Yeah, Goldfinger were the ****. I didn't really know much about them beforehand, so when this bunch of aging punks came on-stage I was ready to go and get some pizza. Then they started playing, so I stayed, watched, jumped around and then went to get pizza when Angels and Airwaves came on.

Which is roughly $550, plus I'm sure the train tickets, food, and other "essentials" probably cost quite a pretty penny as well.Sadly, very true. Hell, I'm gonna be saving for a car now as well so I guess that's it for my spending-money-like-water for now anyway.
