I want to setup my home recording studio but I am so confused as to what I need with the type of gear ive got. Basically I want to record rock music, and these are the things I would like to utilize for the studio...
2Ghz Core Duo Laptop w/ 2GB RAM
Roland TD6V Digital Drum Set
Line 6 Podxt Live
Some guitar amps
Guitars of course
also some Mics to connect for vocals and anything acoustic I want to record.
Also later on im gonna throw in some bass and synths as well. My overall budget is about 1500 right now for anything else I might need, weather its interfaces, mixers etc. I want to be able to get the best quality sound with my current price range, basically Demo quality and above. I have recorded USB with my pod and i really like how easy that is so I was thinking of going USB but i think firewire might be a better option.
Please help, what do i need!!!
