Gk cabs,.

What do you guys think about gk cabs? Do they change the sound at all? I hate that now when I want a 15" avatar doesn't make it so I have to look for another brand.

They're pretty good. Don't bother with the Backlines however - from the ones that I've played (combo, 4x10, and 1x15) they're pretty crappy.

I could have swore my guitar center had a 15" not backline for around 300$ but online I only see em for 500 so I guess I was wrong. But anyway. Why are there cabs always rated for so little like 200 watts?

Meh, my parents bought me a backline 4x10 and its really not that bad, it does pretty well with highs and mids its just when the lows come along... but I'm gonna try to put a 15" under it and see how it does:)

i got the 4x10 rbh, i havent played the backline series but i've heard its trash, go hartke, they sound sweet as for their price tag

I've used GK's for gigs three times now - i really hate them, they fart out pretty easily. Ashdown is where it's at for me personally - check them out
