MAN....That SHlllt is tight....I think the vocals need to be a bit more "growling/abrasive" too adolescent sounding...No offense....Great band though...Better than most of the Shiate that is out there these days...

Thanks :) Our singer is only 16, so I think its pretty good for him. We thought it was not too great when we first recorded it but its really grown us now.

Its a Fusion-Sized Saturn, unfortunately not mine.

The snare is mine which is a 13 x 3.5 Mapex Pro Brass which had a brand new Coated Amb. head on it.

Nothing original, and not my style, but it seems well executed.

Any more?

Sorry, we're just looking for as much feedback as posible becasue we're thinking about sending some stuff away to small record companies in the next few months. We're hoping to be signed by one label in particular (Bells On Records of Japan) as he really likes Scottish punk bands. We are friends with 2 local bands on them and we're hoping they might be interested in us.

Very "tight" as said before, solid stuff. You work well together. I have to re-iterate the others' comments on the singer, it really isn't my style, it's too...piss-around Less Than Jake. Distracts you from everything else with all the out-of-place (but in tune, I'll give him that) notes he's throwing in.
The drums sound good, both the kit and the playing.

although it's not my stlye, I'd have to say your band sounds really good. Well executed, solid playing. It kinda sounds a little bit like most other bands, like someone else said nothing original, but it's good man, really good.

Guitars didn't sound very rhythmically tight, might have bitten off more than they can chew with the faster riffs.
Thought the drumming didnt didn't fit at 1:40, but thats more of a personal preference
Liked the 2:20 section
3:10/3:20 section could have been much tighter
My biggest problem with it is that the guitars really sound off melodically a lot. It seems like they're carelessly switching from straight 16ths to accidentally swinging them a lot

besides that id say its fine. I've heard better and worse

Thanks, thats a great post.

We weren't originally happy with 3:10/3:20 section as it sounded way too fast. It was difficult to record as we had to use only one guitar (rythym) and bass on the guide track due to only one availble pod for guitars (drums are recorded in a seperate room so I was listening to the guitar/bass through headphones.).
It is still a little bit dodgy, but way better than it was origianlly. The producer really did a good job make it sounds pretty much like it is live.

What do you think about the drums that don't fit at 1:40?

Thanks again :thumb:

:) I love the sound of it too.

Too emo eh? I should show you one of the songs we wrote a wee while ago. You'd cry your eyes out for days on end.

Its annoying that I absolutely love the drums for the major emo song.

We've written two new songs and they willbe up in the next month or so. In my opinion they aren't as good, but still good songs. More tech and fast punk.

I'm impressed. It was nice and tight. I have no complaints, maybe a few changes here and there as stated, but I like it! Can't wait to hear more, sounds mature and clean.

Are we all listening to the same songs? Is "tight" slang for "not tight" nowadays?

So, the drumming is fast. As a result, the band is not together. Hard to listen to. Sorry...lots of promise, though.

its very okay, im not into the whole punk thing, and your going a little too fast for your bandmates to play and keep up, and i think your playing would be more exciting if you slowed down a little.

I think the drumming suits the song.
My bandmates are constantly pressuring me to go as fast as possible, which is something I don't like doing. I can go quite fast but its frustrating as I would prefer to do something technical as constant speed drumming gets really repetitive after 2 songs.

I bet your bandmates hit quite a few wrong notes. Fast and loud drumming is not the solution. Resist!
