Would you buy a Paiste Dimension 19 inch medium thin crash for 30 bucks..the catch is that it has a crack on right above the edge that is under 1 inch, and you're buying offline so you can't hear the sound..

No...I always listen to what I am going to buy at one of the GC type places and then search online for a good deal. I also only buy NEW...No cracks or key holing...BUT, if you want to make an effect cymbal by cutting the crack out or by drilling a hole at the inner edge of the crack to avoid spreading I suppose it is a good deal...

I'd buy it and then drill out the crack and some extra from the crack so theres no vibrations. It'll cause it to break easier but hey, its already broke. Like pitchfork said offer 20.
