you should buy pro cymbals one by one. its much better than buying a pack.

what is wrong with buying a pack that has pro cymbals in it? :P can save you a little bit of money too.

Yes...buying used will be cheaper. It's much better to buy used pro-levels than the less expensive but new entry levels...the pro-level cymbals will probably never have problems unless they've been used for a VERY long time. What cymbal sound are you looking for, bright or dark?

OR go to the store and hand pick each cymbal you want based on sound.
Used cymbals can be a blessing or a curse. Sadly you never know what the person before you did to them. They might be perfect, or they might have cracks that arent yet visable.
I would definatly wonder what you were using that is already cracked though before I recommended anything to you.

Those PST5 aren't half bad. I'd get the universal PST5 pack.

get some lessons first so you dont crack your new cymbals.

If you're buying pro first you need to plan out what you want to get and also what cymbals you need first. What do you need first? I suggest looking into the A Custom Range, what music do you play?

if your just gonna buy crap again, might as well stick with the cracked cymbals. then you can work on your technique and not have to buy crap for a third time.
