I went to go try them out today and I am deciding on the 14x6.5 Ludwig Brass snare. it sounds so awesome. I pick it up on friday. I put it on layaway since i dont get paid til friday morning. woot woot. Ill post pics as soon as i bring the drum home. maybe audio too if i can borrow a mic. Or if my comp. mic can pick it up ok.

I have a pearl 5.5" x 14 brass sensitone snare, and I don't know what it is about it, I don't like it. I much prefer the sound of my session series snare.. Am I doing something wrong possibly? I think I'm gunna sell it to get a piccolo snare tho. Or trade or somethin.

i already have a tama roadpro for the snare i have now. I think i may get another too they are on sale on MF for like $34 i think. better than the normal $60-$70. Ill just price match that caca or something. Or just look for something else. I know it has to be a really heavy duty stand as the snare is f*in heavy.
