Recorded myself playing along to a few tracks today, this is one of the better ones. Drums sound pretty cool I reckon.
Incase you don't know, its a track by Led Zeppelin (!) the drums are so fun to play. Any comments/crit/anything would be nice. :)

its the top one, titled 'The Ocean', suprisingly.

Thanks tang - I try to relax as much as possible when I play and really get into the groove. Otherwise theres no point.
Icky Mettle - sure, which bit? or the whole thing. Theres a pretty decent version here = http://www.mxtabs.net/tab_versions.php?path=Drums,l,3034,Led+Zeppelin,Th e+Ocean,5879

No Led Zeppelin was at his house.

i thought maybe his band could've recorded that without drums and he was adding drums over it or something, but if led zeppelin was there, more power to ya

he didnt ^.
i dont think so at least. i like it. thats exactly how i play, minus the bell, cuz no offense but i think it eats the vibe. and play during the halfway point in the la la lala la la la thing.

Thanks guys. I played along to the original track, no changes, just put it really low in the mix, but loud enough to hear it.
next rainy day I might do a couple of Muse tracks, if anyones into them the drums are awesome. Check out stockholm syndrome. Or some jeff buckley too, maybe So Real.

It was solid tight felt good but it wasn't playing for zepplin. It was on the beat and it didn't give off the right vibe. The drum sound was also totally different. I love your playing don't get me wrong, you just don't have that John Bonham vibe. You probably listen to alot of 70-80 and some funk influence. That what I used to listen to and you sound like me 4-5 months ago before I really started to get good(not to say that I'm good but I've gotten alot better)
Just finished listening, you sped up at the end when the change was more swung(coincidence?) and the fills started getting sloppy as you lost focus.
Keep up the good work, it was very good it just isn't the drum sound/feel zeppelin calls for

Thanks for listening, on the John Bonham vibe thing - i'm not john bonham, I don't intend to be. I'm just jamming along to a song. He has been a big influence on me, but it was ages ago when I got into him so a few more drummers have caught my ear since then.
Thanks for bringing the speeding up to my attention, I found that tempo quite hard to keep up cos of the swinging on the ride. Now i'm gonna practice playing in triplets and swing.
