I just downloaded this album, and holy crap.
Three guys:
Terry Bozzio
Steve Stevens
Tony Levin
I don't know who the other two guys are but they rip hard. Some of the best instrumental music I've ever heard. I can't even describe it, it's all over the place.
My favourite song at the moment is Duende. It's like a Mexican guitar song, on a big acoustic guitar, with wild picking and strumming and guitar and drums trade bars for a bit, and then they both come in with bass. Drums play all these cool congos and bongos and tambourines and stuff, oh my God it's awesome. And it's 7:28!
But the other songs are like weird fusion songs and stuff with cool melodies and radical synth.
Get this friggin' album, now. The drumming is wild.

Tony Levin is a legend. He's probably my favorite bassist, maybe aside from John Entwistle.
Bozzio, Levin, Stevens is great. Too bad their material is so hard to find.
Levin's work with LTE is subpar compared to his music with King Crimson and on his other projects. He has some great parts, but they're barely audible most of the time.

He locks a solid, slow groove with him on the title track while the guitar just goes off on some slow melodies. Then it's the bass/drum duet for a bit with some light guitar strumming and they play nicely off each other. The bass often keeps it simple and pumping which I like.
I don't discredit Terry Bozzios drumming in any way but it's refreshing to hear him lock a solid groove for a bit throwing in some neat China hits to remind you it's him.

I've had this album for a while and Duende's always been my favorite track, though Tragic probably has the best drum work. Steve Stevens busts out some badass solos and Levin, as usual, is legendary.

Tony Levin is awesome. I don't know who Steve Stevens is, though.

For some reason I'm afraid to click that link. Like goatse is gonna pop up or something.
I can't send it over email, it's far to large a file. If anyone wants to post their SoulSeek name I'll add them.

I added both but I'm pretty sure they don't exist. It's case sensitive too.
