Recently i've been going through pages 5-7 of stick control on the kit as follows:

-playing the written exercises with the hands on two instruments while playing the samba foot pattern on the hi hat and kick
-playing alternating singles with the hands while playing the written exercises with my feet on the double pedal, and also with the left foot on the hi-hat.\

what other not insanely difficult, but equally or slightly more challenging exercises do you guys do with these first three pages on the kit?

i like to play each exercise like such:
R=right hand L = left hand
R=right foot L=left foot
R=right hand L= left foot
R=right foot L=left hand

usually with feet on bass drums and hands going through the snare and the tom (to get accompanied with all feels and rebounds)

I just bought stick control last week, started doing it with my feet. So far I've got exercises 1-8 at an ok start, anywhere from 80-134 BPM. I'm not going on to any other exercises until they're all at 120, though.

Try applying the 15 simple accent patterns to each. Works wonders for the hands.
