So with the new album on the horizon (or for the downloaders among us, who have it already), I thought I'd make a Bouncing Souls thread. These are possibly one of my favourite bands at the moment, and are just confirmed for Leeds/Reading festival.
Anyone else like them?

May be my favorite Poppunk band... I've only heard the gold song from the new album, but it sounds pretty good.
I think they're great :) And they're confirmed for Leeds/Reading? Cool, I'll be seeing them then.

The Gold Record (2006)
Hopeless Romantic (1999)
Both are great CDs. I haven't listened to them for a few weeks, I'll go listen now and come back with more opinions.

Ross, you should get How I Spent My Summer Vacation. Thats definitely in my top 5 CDs ever.

I like to rock and I love to roll, when the music's running through my soul I've got no place to go but my own private radio I met a lot of people that made me feel alright and their music's got me through the night.
I had a drink and I had a smoke, I listened to every word you spoke. Another story another memory, another day the way things should be If i had it my way everyone would know how we're listening to our own Private Radio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be amazing, two brilliant bands.
I only listened to the new album, and its pretty good, maybe 6 or 7/10.
I only listen to 'The Gold Song'.

I've always loved The Bouncing Souls, although I've never owned any of their albums. I have always had plenty on my computer and I've never stopped listening to them.

HISMSV is one of my favourite albums, five stars from start to finish, if you don't have it get it.

Superb band, i've seen them live 4 times, and will be seeing them for the fifth time this summer. They are so fu'cking fun, and have the ability to write an endless list of anthems. Of the upcoming record, Pizza Song, So Jersey and especially the Gold Song all sounded amazing when they gave them a run out when i saw them last.
All their albums are spectacular.
Songs: Sing Along Forever, Manthem (never heard them play it live still!), True Believers, Hopeless Romantic, Say Anything, Kid, Fight To Live, Kate Is Great, Cracked, That Song etc etc
The list goes on...

Haha, oh the comments, the truth is, i've heard 'sing along forever' and i thought it was ace.
But then i thought i heard one when he was screaming in my face.
It's like the first DEP song i heard was 43% which is dire, and if it's the first song you hear which is bad, you don't want to hear the band.
Yeah, so like that.
I probably would like them. But i heard quite an unfortunate song first off.

Do Hopeless Romantic. It was the first review I ever did here, and it sucks massively. I've been waiting for someone to cover it up with a better one.

I only heard pulley from the punkoramas. I would like to hear more, as they seem good PPDU hint. :p
If I have it in mp3, I'll upload Pulley - #!@%. It may well be in ATRAC3 though, which would be lame. Cuz no-one could play it except people with SonicStage, which is fairly lame.

Staying true to pop-punk. They ain't writing all this bullshit want to be emo pop-punk.
I think it's the guy's voice mainly that makes them sound a bit like Pulley.

I feel weird about How I Spent My Summer Vacation. I mean I love some of the songs. And by "love" I really mean love, some of the best pop-punk songs ever. Those are songs like True Believers, Manthem, Gone and Private Radio.
With that beeing said, I don't think the rest of the album is near as good.
