What singers are that that are so horrible to listen that make you not listen to the band ?

For me the main one is Thursday.

I dunno i just hate his voice, i only have Full Collapse and i've heard some other songs but it's so grainy and horrble. No matter how great the music may be i can't get past the singing.

They don't scream much live. In Eternal Rest the Rev does some of the screaming and Shadows does a very limited amount in some songs but thats about it.

Vocalists I hate are Tom Delonge, the bloke from Aiden, the singer and screamer from Atreyu and most singers in the growling vocal style (like Necrophagist and Cannibal Corpse- that sort of sound).

After he bumped into me during their 5th or 6th song, I said, "Hey dude, who sings this song?" He screamed, "SENSES FAIL WOOO!"

I was like, "Keep it that way and don't hit me or any of my friends again...got it?"

Admittedly I can't say I have *searches up James LaBrie*

I mean I'm not saying Matt Bellamy is the best, but he's certainly an amazing singer and pianist and he's pretty good at the guitar too. He was trained as a classical pianist.

He's a one of a kind rock star.

I just love their themes aswell... Time is Running Out, Butterflies and Hurricanes (i.e. the chaos theory), Knights of Cydonia, they all have true, factual meaning and they're not wailing on about their long lost love.

It seems so weird to hear so many people say they can't stand Geoff's voice because I'm so in love with his voice I love it so much, but I can see why people dislike it. Thursday was a band I had to listen to a couple times before I started enjoying Geoff's voice.

It's a pretty melodical punk-rock, which is what I like most. I don't mind some of the other stuff, like Saves the Day, but I get fed up of that continuous head banging rythm and tune after a while. (Exactly why I hated 'Dance Dance' by Fall out boy so much, but liked 'Sugar We're Going Down')

Yeh I'll agree there, but he's certainly got the 'ability' to sing well, I just think he's a very sloppy player live.

I saw one of their last concerts in wembley and there's a video recording of it aswell, it's like he's making no attempt to sing the words, he just slurrs them.

(It would probably help if they didn't play the songs 3 times as fast as they were recorded..)
