First, are the audio ports on the back of the computer (mic line in etc) connected to your computer? Secondly Which are which on a Soundblaster X-Fi card? (this may be a stupid question but I really dont know on this one.)

1. Yes they are. You may have two sets of ports if your motherboard has an integrated sound card. (The vertical ones under your mouse and keyboard connectors would be the crappy sound card built into the motherboard; the horizontal ones towards the bottom part of the case would be the X-Fi)
2. I don't have an X-Fi so I don't know but it is most likely listed somewhere on www.creative.com
