Anyone here from Toronto, Canada? I need some fresh indie bands to check out. Hit this thread if you're from Toronto.

It's going to get knocked off the map soon, though, and then you Canadians will be back where you started. Good game.

You Say Party! We Say Die!, Young and Sexy & The Organ are good canadian indie (read: independant) bands.

It's always good to see someone try to use the term correctly. You are now my favorite person, Lukeh.

I heard Montreal pretty much blows if you don't speak French. After college, most English-speaking students move to another major city in Canada or back to the United States (if that's where they're from).

I go to University of Toronto for Aerospace.

But I can't really help you much. I don't get out a lot.

For a second I thought that this was gonna be about Toronto, the 1980s hard rock group.

Seriously though, next to New York, Toronto is generally indie-hipster central. just go down to Queen street or *shudder* the Annex.

Is that that building on Dufferin with the stupid *** "wind scuplture"/eyesore on the front?

God I hate that thing.
