so im going to scallop the last 6 frets this weekend. know how to do it but what i dont know is what to do after. im going to use a file to get it mostly how i like it them use some fine sandpaper (600 or so) and my finger to finish it off. then after that is there like a finish or something i should put on it? i have thought about just cleaning the fretboard and grabing some lemon oil to use also. then im polishing frets and guitar too. but is there anything specific i should be doing to the fretboard once im done scalloping it?
