As you probably know, I'm a little obsessed with this band at the moment.

So yes, The Organ. The Organ are 5 chicks from Canada. The Organ are a band that you simply must check out if you like The Smiths or The Cure or any other **** like that.

The Organ released their debut EP Sinking Hearts in 2002, following that up with their debut album, Grab That Gun in 2004. Grab That Gun is seriously one of the best new albums I've heard in the last few years.

So if you haven't heard The Organ yet, go check them out, and if you have, discuss them. I'm personally hoping for a new album sometime soon, because Grab That Gun is not enough to satisfy me.

As someone said in here I think they sound like a female Paul Banks from Interpol or something of the sort.
They are a pretty good band I got their album a few days ago and have been listening to it quiet abit. My favorite song is probably "Steven Smith" as of right now.

Yeah I can definitely see the validity in comparisons with Interpol. But I think the vocals are more Morrissey-esque than anything.

I really should get a listen in at some point, they are from what i've heard really good, especially before people start hating them for being an 'NME' band, as somewhere recently they've been quoted by NME as their next 'BIG' band. Do you think new bands now get p.issed off with that, as so many bands are subsequently discredited whether they are really good or not.

I've never heard this band but I've heard there was a huge buzz around them at South By Southwest this year. Oh, that and their an all-girl band.

I didn't feel THAT bored but I don't have any desire to listen to them in the near future. I guess I'd have to give them another shot later on.
