I’ve got to attend a interview to get on a music technology course at uni and I have to give a talk on "my possible contribution to music technology". I’ve just finished a computer course at college and I have never studded Music technology before apart from the recording and editing I do for my band at home using Wavepad. So I was just wondering what I should include in this talk. I know I should be writing all this my self but some ideas would be appreciated. I really want to do this as I really am determined not to work within the computer industry as it is something that really doesn’t interest me any more but music is such a big part of my life i would love to do something within the music industry as a career.

I'd say try to sound as good at recording as possible, and also try to sound very inavative, as in radical techniques and stuff. That will make sure that they know that you know your stuff, and would be likely to push music technology to its extreems.

don't say things you can't back up or try to sound better than you are
