Occasionally I leave the TV on after 24/House, and I am always amazed how excited these two cunts get over the most inane topics. Like tonight they were running around with this phsyically (and I'm sure mentally) handicapped guy who has nothing better to do with his time then "patrol" shopping malls etc in NYC and actually taking pictures of cars illegally parking in handicapped spaces. They were also making a big deal about how some official vans/trucks were doing it as well. Guess what.. NOONE GIVES A ****!! In fact, I'm going to make it a point now to park in handicapped spaces at malls.

Yeah, but see handicapped spaces are widened so wheelchairs and scooters can be taken out of the side of the vehicle. In a regular spot, it would be hard to do get a wheelchair out.

It's fox news, don't expect any better from them. They're by far the most biased and the least professional News station in the United States.
Onto this issue, I don't think normal people should park in handicapped spaces. It's like if I went near some business, and parked in an employee parking, instead of a visitor or something.

They should just cancel all local news. It's all worthless drivel. On monday they led off with a segment on that horse that tripped at the Kentucky derby and how they were glad it would live and be able to stud.
Who the **** cares about a horse?
Today's was about how easy it is for someone to be a predator on myspace... right... because even though your kids can stay 8 steps ahead of their parents, they're gonna get caught one of dem peados.
The only thing people have to worry about on myspace is getting picked up by the cops for taking pictures of last weeks kegger.

They may be owned by the same person, but they are run by different programming directors.
The only thing local news is biasted towards is ratings and stupidity.
As for handicaped parking, the only thing they need is wide spaces, they don't need places at the front. the 20 additional feet it takes them to get into the supermarket isn't going to make a difference when they still have to get to milk in the back corner.

They are on the same network. Just like ABC, NBC, CBS, etc...
They have local affiliates that bring you the local news. And they promote FOX / FOX Network News heavily and are influenced by it's slanted / biased reporting, often times promoting it's parent networks "news" shows and personalities through the local outlets.
It's all crap.

its called localization, different networks have different channels from each of their local stations. Have you EVER travelled?
Like here, its ABC on 2 (the station is KATU), CBS on 6 (KOIN), NBC on 8 (KGW), UPN on 12 (forgot), and FOX on 49 (forgot as well). Cable always had ABC on 4, and FOX on 13 however, which was strange. Recently Fox moved to channel 12, however, and they're getting rid of UPN.

I hate to pull the "I know a person" card but...
My cousin has spina bifida and needs someone to physically lift her from the vehicle into her chair. She's very weak and has trouble wheeling herself even short distances. The point is even though you say they don't need it, they have more a reason to need it rather than able-bodied people like ourselves.
Having said that I know some people have those scooters and such and don't really need them blah blah blah, people will abuse anything.
