I play piano decent, play guitar shysty. I'm looking to work with something new, and im really interested in experimenting with working on the computer and creating music use MIDI Files, loops- what not. I'm looking to produce a kind of DJ Shadow sound- or try.....
I'm thinking abuot getting ACID to screw around with to get me started..it's free...

Do you guys have any programs you think i should use, or pointers you could give me for getting started?
