one of the main guys plays either bass or keyboard on every song (or this one pad thing he hits with a drum stick and it sounds like a bass, he uses it on 'tear u apart')
but seriously though, when i heard that guys keyboard live, it was absolute sex. it was so bassy, i honestly was getting an upset stomach. it was awesome.

Well, I'm pretty sure.
The skin is still all calloused up but when I pick up the acoustic to play it really cuts into my fingers.
Maybe it's because I use a lighter gauge of strings.
So......has anybody ever heard tapped harmonics in powertab when you have in the "gunshot" effect on?

He's talking about midi playback.
I've decided to start doing solo guitar as well as solo bass, I've just started learning Tribes by Preston Reed and I can play the first 25 bars pretty well, I need to start on the chordal strummed section now.
If you haven't already got it then get Preston Reed's Expanding the Realms of Acoustic Playing, it is an excellent dvd that goes through three of his tunes showing you every little detail.

Warmoth has 4- and 5-string passive Seymour Duncan soapbar p/ups for $59.25 each or $112.50 for a set. That's significantly less than a single 7-string bart. I may buy 3 and do some strange configurations.

he is legend isnt local, i could totally talk my way into it.
heres how you are going to do it.
get in line, when you get to the front of the line keep letting people get in front of you, then when the security guard asks why you are doing that, tell him someone is bringing you a ticket. after you stand there for about an hour he should probably offer to sell you a ticket.
thats how my friend got into underoath last friday
kilian
05-29-2006, 02:23 PM
^^No, that's with usual shows. They're oh so tight with festivals here.
And then they say: god damn, you should have bought yourself a ticket. (fan thing)
Nah.. The festival is coming out of a slop from last year and they've booked some great names now. Tool, Placebo, Bloodhound gang, Franz Ferdinand, Deftones, Soulfly, Nickelback and then ofcourse the Chili's. So they need their money badly :p
My only chance would be that my work has to do the backstage Cocktailbar :naughty:
