How do you get them off?

I think you loosen the heads and pop them off...not sure though

take off the head. from the inside loosen whatever is attaching it.

Nouveau lugs are seperatable. The thing the tension rod screws into can be detatched to help reduce time to change heads and tuning. However I don't know how to get them apart.

You loosen the head. A slighty down pressure and out. Boink, there ya go. This is a VERY simple design here...

I thought it was designed so that you didn't have to change your "tuning" at all...and therefore no loosening was required. Oh well, thanks anyway.

I didn't think so. Well I do see the advantage of this, anyway. It's a hell of a lot easier than taking off every single tension rod and putting 'em all back in. Anyway, thanks for everyones help.

Loosen the tension screws and pull the lug outwards, away from the shell.
