...a playlist for walking to on my iPod. Recommend as many songs as you'd like. Any genre is acceptable, just as long as it makes for good listening while walking.

I like to stroll around to almost anything by Agalloch, Explosions in the Sky, Sigur Ros, Isis, Pelican, Radiohead, Opeth, and Thrice's Vheissu. That makes up the majority of my nighttime walking tunes. The stuff just makes me think while I walk, its good. Im going to like to see what other people put up on here...

I'd have to agree with Wire. The Jesus and the Mary Chain also feature regularly in 'walking' playlists I make.
