I was out yesterday and took a trip to the music store. I hadn't been there in a very long time and I was impressed with all of the stock they had. I noticed many new kits, new cymbals and some with the name Stagg.
I'd just like to know the different lines of Stagg cymbals, because their site doesn't have much. If someone could compare them to say Sabian or Zildjian (AAX ---> A Custom) that would be great!

Yeah, this would be great if anyone could do that...
Stagg doesnt even exist here, and if all sounds good.. I might just look into ordering some in...

There is no consistency with Stagg cymbals. Their division into different lines makes very little sense. Almost every "identical" cymbal will sound totally different.
So you really have to go to the shop and pick the ones you like, without paying any notice to what line a certain cymbal is.
Also check the cymbals for manufacturing defects, like thin spots near the edge or very deep pitmarks. Avoid those cymbals, they may soon break.

Thanks for the information guys. I wanted to know which cymbals to try out depending on the sound I was looking for but it seems I'll just have to try them all :p

Right, i have Stagg Myra's.
Basically you get the SH series (Single Hammered)
Then the DH Series (Dual Hammered)
Then you get the Furia Series, Myra series, Black Metal Series and the Vintage bronze series (which are all top line cymbals, i think).
Now, it is rather hard to compare these cymbals to others, because they're all so different. I'll give it a go though.
Myra's are very heavey, i have them, and for heavey rock / metal they will sound amazing ( http://www.kyrbgrinder.com - This guy uses them). The Furia are a little lighter i think, and have a bit more range to them. Vintage Bronze are for jazzy music i think, and the Black Metal ones are again, for rock i think.
Don't quote me on any of this, but this is info i've gathered over a while.
For the price, they sound absolutly amazing, and their higher lines, are (imo) at the same standard as the bigger name companies high end cymbals.
One thing i noticed was that Staggs cymbals are not very consistent. My 17" is thicker than my 18" and sounds completely different.
