Still need help with new bass!!

Ok, I went to my local mucic store called Brighton music and they had an Ibanez SR505 for 400 and then you pop a balloon and get 10-50 % off for anniveristy sale. Hopefullly its still going on.

5 string beutiful bass, I was real close to getting it and today I may shoot up and pick it up and blow off the spector euro because this sounds all most or just about the same great tone as a spector with a great deal brand new. Advice asap, would help. Thanks. Anyone own this bass? Know much about it? and also I might aswell asked this what should I look for heavy metal/ death metal, deep low end stuff. bolt on, or neck thru, what is the difference, and whats better for what style what so ever? I've always thought they were a bit bland tonal-wise, but I'd choose it over a Spector. This is also one of the Ibanez basses that don't feel extremely fragile, which is a plus.

I'd say go for it.

I've played it. I've always considered it a bargian. It's a really good bass for the price. Even not taking the price into account, it's a good bass. Go for it. :thumb:
