are EMG-35DC pickups possible on a esp ltd F-104?

I'm pretty sure any pickup can work with any bass, as long as you route a cavity for the pickups to fit in, cavities for the wires, and can attach it to the preamp correctly. I'm sure it's possible.

EMG's should fit no problem, that's what ESP routes their pickups for. Their other basses usually come with HZ's and there ESP pups have the same cavity.

thanks guys. but i found the f-404, which uses the 35DC. and for $550, i think it would be cheaper than a f-104 with two 35DC's , f-104 = $300 (2)EMG-35DC's = $202, i think i should with the f-404 for an extra $48. What do you think guys? I need help. Cause i want an active pickups, and active preamps.

Go with the F-404. With the factory job it's under warranty, and ESP customer service rocks if there's ever a problem.

hmm.. right.. but if your just suggesting it cause of the warranty, i am not gonna be able to use it. cause im from the philippines, my mom's in the states, she'll be taking the guitar home.

I don't see a df-404 model anywhere. Where did you find the F404 for $500?
