voice disruption

i practise singing at home alot. i've been facing a problem, that is when i have sang alot of deathmetal songs. my voice is like corrupted as i have distorted my voice. later, i try singing alterbridge songs. i found that my voice is getting worse and cannot attain the high pitch . normally, most of the time, i can sing with the exact key of myles kennedy's. but not as good as his.
pls, put up some advice . should i stop singing deathmetal songs?i guess it's really bringing down my voice pitch range and stability.

it's almost gauranteed in the way you're singing it. have you had vocal training? because if not, i'd suggest some.

you could go to a doctor to get checked out and see if you've done any actual damage to your vocal chords if you think it's that bad

hey how can i have a vocal traning.? can i get help from internet?but , i practice do to do along with keyboard keys. but, i still can reach a very high pitch of the higher octive .
