I was thinking about getting a new bass soon, after I get my new amp, but I like the style of this bass, so what do you think of it? :naughty:

i think that the sx is a step up from a squier. go for it.
...you'd probably have to change your name if you get it though... :p

Behave yourself this time.
And save up for a better bass.. It's not worth to buy a new bass which is only a small step up. :thumb:

second basses are supposed to be an improvement. If memory serves correctly, you have a pretty old squire, from back when they were actually a good company. If anything, an SX would be a step down. It seems that you just want a shiny new bass, when you should save your money and wait a little bit.

Whoever told you really good things about an SX is not to be trusted. Okay beginner bass maybe, but a waste of money as a second bass.

Have you ever PLAYED an SX?
Don't get it, unless you're thinking of modding practically everything/

Whats more, as basser said, he owns a decent 80s made in japan squier. The ones ive played of them sounded easily as good as the MIA fenders they put out today.
Please, for your own sake, dont get the SX, it will just be a waste of money. Buy some Bareknuckle pickups for the squier, and it will be a bass worthy of a pro.
If not, I'll buy it off you for $200
