I'm not sure when it comes to amps though. I use a SWR LA 15. It has a nice tone, but not too versatile.

Id rather not to be honest, for warranty/faulty product purposes

I really reccomend Ampeg amps. It's all subjective, but I find them very versatile, and with a lot of nice tones if you know your ****. This amp is loud enough for rehearsals too.

Since you are a guitarist, you most probably are looking for a 4er, so...

You can go fender MIM (standard) for the price, but I'm not a real fan of Fender (too meh for me).

For your price range, those are AMAZING basses. Never I have heard someone talk bad about this creatures, and with a reason. This basses are simply amazing, both for looks, tone and feel.

Thanks a lot, i actually play a schecter guitar so i have no doubts about there quality and feel, and ampeg seems like a well known and trusted company :thumb:

Well known? Pfft

Remember when Marshall Guitar Amps actually had that amazing reputation (I know that, lately, they are considered ****e)? That is what Ampeg has today.

And I feel Schecter basses are better than the guitars. I play both instruments, and if you feel comfortable with a schecter guitar, I can assure you, the bass will feel better.

Get a Yorkville combo amp, I'd go with the 200 watt.

If I had $1,000 for a bass and an amp:

Musicman (used) SUB, or MIM P

SWR LA15, or some Hartke

I'm selling an SWR La12 if you're interested in it.
