XTC were a new wave/punk band from the late '70s/early '80s. Coming from England, the band was famous for it's fast, jerky, spastic dance-like rythyms, especially in songs like Generals And Majors.

Really catchy band, anyone like them?

:upset: I'm sorry, my spamming is over. I apologize.

In order to redeem myself and stay on topic, this band doesn't impress me much. Although I was never really into this type of music.

Ive only got one song by them - Making plans for Nigel

the vocals have a really freaky feel to them but i agree they seem like a catchy band

I wouldn't really call them punk at all.

None the less, I like them a lot. I grew up listening to Oranges and Lemons, as well as many other albums.

Mayor of Simpleton is a cool song.
As far as the bass goes.
They're ok.
And very very not punk.

Don't worry, I thought it was funny.

I like 'em alot. I only really like their earliest stuff, which is more New Wave, while the later stuff is just pop.
Statue of Liberty and Science Friction are great songs.
