Not an Aussie, but I'm seeing them in Boston in August a day after my b-day. I saw them live about 4 years ago which was the first time I heard them. I've been nuts over them since and have been waiting forever for them to come back over to the Sates.

This band are currently top of my Must See Live list. Especially after hearing a live recording. Although I'd prefer if they kept their setlist to older stuff - I was really disappointed by the new album.

too true. i was really disappointed expecially because of all the hype it had recieved. i dont mind wake up, state of emergency and whats on your radio, but the rest is pretty crap.

oh and yes, scott owen plays upright bass and he bass surfs aswell. chris cheney bass surfed while playing a solo with a vb at the show. legend.

The Living End are by far my favourite live band. I've seen 'em 4 times, and everytime is more amazing than the last.
Does anyone know if they have a live DVD? If so, I want it!

I went on Friday, but mostly to see Gyroscope/Kisschasy. TLE kicked some bum though, especially Uncle Harry, man that was good. I got killed in the Gyroscope pit so I was a bit dead when it came to TLE. Loved it though!
