I swear to God I'm not a spammer! I don't know what happened to the forum where you can post your own music, so if this thread gets moved, I guess it gets moved, huh? Either way, just enjoy the music, that's the point...

Anyways, my band The Curiously Strong Peppermints just finished a new track called "Oh Me Oh My"... wondering if you guys would d/l and tell me what you think! For what it's worth, our bio claims we sound like The Flaming Lips meets Ween at the E lephant 6 Recording Co, although this track seems a bit SMiLE-esque to me... Sounds include: backwards drums, bowed fuzz banjo, Hawaiian tremoloa and jaw harp... So if you're into that sort of thing, give it a listen:

It's the first track in the 'music' section.

Thanks, enjoy, reply with feedback...

I would agree we're all pretty dumb... What did you say? I'm curious?

You are an Elephant 6 fan, huh?

In the first song, "Oh Me Oh My," it sounds like they're going for that Unicorns kinda feel and I said, "You're not the Unicorns. Stop." But then I realized that all of their songs are dumb and I changed my post.

I don't have any problems with Elephant 6.

Everyones a critic (and most people are DJs).

I don't see how you can call this avant garde. There are some cool basslines though.

Yeah, I called it noize too.

Thanks for the bass compliment! :)
