Hey guys,
I rented "The Ringer", even though I heard bad things about it, and it was even more ominous to rent because there was so many on the shelves for a new release DVD.
So despite the negative feedback, I actually liked the movie a lot. I found it much more than just a "stupid comedy" trying to make money. It had some points where I cracked up too. I went nuts went one of the guys said "when the **** did we get ice cream?". Best line in the movie, IMO. The movie was of course, predictable, yet I still found it entertaining. I also have a thing for movies with {/thinking of politically correct term} "special" people. I loved "Rain Man", and "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest", as well as "I am Sam".
I would certainly recommend this movie for a good rental.
