Buzz on mando

When I fret the A# on the first fret A string, there's a buzz. I've tried raising the action and nothing happened. Any thoughts?

Hmmm... is the 1st fret pulling up at all? Neck warping back a bit? If it's just that one string at one fret I would think filing the 2nd fret (or wherever it's buzzing at) would take care of it. I would let a mandolin luthier do it for you if you can.

I'd say the nut is cut too deep. Get it filled and recut, or buy a new one.
