This game ****in owns!! I just beat the second mission, although it's only the first real mission because the first is more of a training level. There is so much more you can do, like climb up stuff (i.e. poles), hide bodies in containers, jump across balconies, push people over railings/cliffs/into water. I love how at the end there's a magazine page about the level, and varies depending on if there are witnesses who saw you etc. Plus the other articles on the page are usually pretty funny. The money thing works pretty well.. it's easy to get lots of money.. and a little cool thing is that if you don't exit the level with your suit on you have to pay $5k to get it back. Although I'd think a clone like him would have about 50 suits in his closet.. but oh well. This is definitely an awesome, awesome game.. everything a Hitman game should be. Ok back to playing. :cool:

Is the violence and gore better than the previous games? I always thought that they could up that part of the realism.

It's pretty much the same.. but it's still good. You can set a lot more traps for victims instead of just sneaking in for the silenced shot (although that still is lots of fun :lol: ) Plus you carry around a mine that gives off a sweet explosion, and if someone's carrying it, it sends them flying.

Actually there might be more blood then previous games. It's been so long I forget what they were like, but now if you shoot a guy blood spatters everywhere and if it's a headshot you can see bits of brain matter. Also the fiber wire animation is pretty sweet, he grabs him then turns around and bends over with the guy bending back on top of him and pulls hard. :D

Sorry man I was so busy playing I forgot to stop and take some pics hahah.. I think I have one on prntscrn so I'll check. Anyway, I just beat the game. ****ing awesome game. I only got two Silent Assassin rankings, but I love all the different ranks. I got everything from Terrorist, Hoodlum, The Ghost to Shadow Killer and a couple others I think. I didn't bribe anyone and ended up with 30/100 notoriety.. somehow there was a witness on three different levels. :confused: I thought I killed everyone who could have seen me but I guess not. Another cool new thing was how you have to steal the security tape if you get recorded on CCTV or else I assume your notoriety will fill up.

And there is one HELL of an ending.

I'm not sure.. I tried looking on their website but I didn't find anything. I'm running it smoothly at 1600x1200 with everything maxed out, and I have a AMD 3200+, 6800 GT OC'd and 1.5gb RAM.. so I don't know if that will help you. Even if you have a really crappy computer you should be able to run it at least on low, it's not the most graphically intensive game in recent releases.

The one thing I didn't really like was the introduction of new things that were kinda useless.. at least I never used them. Like taking a hostage, it's a sweet idea but I never used it except in the training level because the hostage makes a lot of noise and generally blows any cover you had. Also I never used the unlimited coin you have in your inventory as a distraction.. kinda pointless. And the only weapons I used/upgraded were the Silverballers and the sniper rifle. They also had a custom shotty and two machine guns but using them again is not exactly what you want to use if you're going for a real assassin's approach. In fact, in most of the levels I don't think you would even need a gun because to get SA you could just use your sedative syringes and rig up accidents for the targets.

There's a training level, your hideout level, 11 full missions and the last level which isn't so much a level as it is a massacre. But I won't spoil anything for you. I finished it on normal difficulty in two days but I have nothing better to do then play it all day because I'm still looking for a job.. as for replayability.. it has lots of it! There are so many different ways you can kills you targets, I'm about to start again on Expert.

Lots of ways.. you can do stuff like set explosives on the top of chandeliers and remotely detonate them when the target is under them, you can throw knives (in the final mission I picked up a knife and threw it at the last guy as he was begging.. boy that felt good), you can rig a pyrotechnic show to torch your target, you can poison drinks or food, replace a fake gun with a real gun, push your targets over railings or over anything if they're standing in front of a drop (like cliffs, water, etc.. my favorite thing is to sedate people then dump them into the sea and let them drown :evil:), good o'l sniper (which can be silenced now, I forget if the previous games had silenced sniper rifles) or fiber wire (the animation for strangling people sitting in chairs is GREAT.. you nearly flip them over the back of the chair, then they just slump back down as if they're asleep), another sweet kill animation involving the fiber wire is when you're on top of an elevator and 47 reaches down and strangles the guy and drags him up. There's plenty of other ways too, I have a couple ideas but I need to go back through the levels a couple more times.

Plus there's an abundance of ways to get your target places to where you can easily kill them. i.e. in one level you're at a party and are given an aphrodesiac which you can slip into the targets drink, which makes him bring a girl back to his room where noone else is around so you can kill him sneakily.. in another level you're in a hotel casino and you can use a cell phone to call one of your targets, which makes him come out to the roof (since there's no cell phone reception inside the casino to prevent cheating) where you can snipe him or if you can get through security, I'm pretty sure you could hide up there and push him over the edge when he comes out but I couldn't figure out what uniform I needed to get through his security detail.

Personally I thought I had gotten a ton more kills then that.. I brought every weapon that I could and used up all the ammo off dead police etc.. but I was spraying mostly into the crowd so if you took longer and only got headshots I think there could be a lot more kills on this level.

When you're shooting, they run around like crazy etc.. but it's a steady stream of people moving through so they return to normal after a couple minutes. It's not really completely interactive.

I'm playing through it on Expert now.. I actually like it more then Normal. They don't show you enemy or police on the map, but it makes it more fun. But it's easier if you play it through on Normal first so you have a general idea of where they are.

Blood Money demo cashed on Xbox Live

Two days after the PC demo of Hitman: Blood Money debuted on GameSpot (http://www.gamespot.com/promos/2006/hitman-demo/index.html), its Xbox 360 counterpart is now up on Xbox Live. The free download lets players go through the first level of the game, titled "Death of a Showman." As in previous Hitman games, players will take control of international assassin Agent 47, who, in this particular mission, is tasked with taking out a jazz-lovin' criminal. The demo will feature several new weapons and combat maneuvers added to Blood Money, which is set for release on the PC, 360, Xbox, and the PlayStation 2 next Tuesday in the US. European gamers get it this Friday.

I know I just didnt know how..I was standing there just looking at him. Yeah it isnt that great a level..well level design is cool but the objectives are difficult without major trial and error

When I did it on Normal I just killed a couple people and it was easy but I'm trying to get SA on every level and the timing is so hard to get into the medical ward through the basement. The cop, aid and therapist keep walking around making it nearly impossible to sedate one of them and toss the body in the laundry bin thing.

Eh it's not so different.. the only big differences are you can only save it 3 times and less info on your map. I'd play it on Pro but with no saves allowed I think I'd assassinate myself if I screwed up right at the end of a mission and had to restart the entire thing.

Contracts is good but not great..Hitman 2 is better. If you havent played number 1 then you might as well rent Contracts otherwise your playing the same game.

I was on the barge, capped a guard and threw him over the side...I thought that he would hit the water but nooooo..Im on the wrong level of the boat and he lands right next to a group of people....figures

Tips for new players:
1) Keep an eye on your map at all times, especially if you planning to go for the kill or sneak into an area
2) watch peoples patterns...this is AI not real people and they will repeat where they go...this also means you have to be aware that a person who just left the room may come back
3) Just because your dressed as a gaurd doesnt mean you can run around like a prat..behave in the way the person you just stole the identity of would act
4) Use the camera to good use to check on people behind you
5)If needs be look around in areas to see what you can use, if theyre are any traps to set etc and then restart..but that takes the fun away of finding it the first time
6) Trial and error..thats how this game works..keep trying until you get what you want

Sorry to sound really serious..writing guides for Gamefaqs* does that to you.

Mine gets an error and says SecurRom or whatever needs the original disc. I mounted it using Daemon and all options on. When I use the no CD crack it works, but there is no sound and the mouse moves very slow with studder. Any way to fix this? Thanks

So I played the demo today. It was the training level on the closed amusement park. Pretty fun game actually, and some of the things you can do are just awesome. I found it quite satisfying killing that guy with the poison syringe.

Runs on PAL-60 though which is a bit of a bitch on my television. I'd probably rent it if I even went to Blockbusters anymore.

Ohhh so thats what the outside area is for...I choked the Africana in the lift,took the diamonds with a bomb in them, waited for them to get taken away, killed the sheik in the outside area and sniped the scientist from the Africana's room.

Hey wait a minute...you know after that paris mission (the opera) Is that the part when Contracts happens? After the mission it shows a cop load his gun..Im guessing thats the point when he gets shot (in the intro to contracts) and has those flashbacks (which makes up the main game of Contracts) then *spoiler..technically* heads back to America,and then takes the missions after the Opera. Well its expected on the last mission its not like you have a chance to hide once you that infront of so many people

4 ways to enter:
1) Enter as clown, go into the room next to the inside pool and get the FBI uniform
2)enter as food delivery guy...then the same as above
3)Enter as garbage man through back garden(throw his body into the garbage truck if needs be) however there is a dog in the garden...this ties into
4) go across the street, without being seen by the next door neighbour, get the tranquliser(sp) darts from the vets office and then go to the north (!) point and enter the tree house, take the air rifle and take out the dog (and anyone else if you so wish) this give you access into the side garden which in turn gives you access to the basement

What? Move the goddam controller! if youve got an Xbox or PS2 rotate the thumbstick alot and he gets up
and If you allready knew that then yes it is possible you just have to be a good shot...I recomend taking out the guy on the left first then going for the group in the back (with headshots) then run away...wait for the others to come and shoot them...then go to the cars and take care of the weelchair man and then at the gate is the reporter and Priest.

This game and bad judgement. for example my mums car started having problems just as we were outside my village but she turned the car around and drove it to the BMW dealership to have it checked. It was 2pm when we got there..we got back home at 6(due to other things) thats another day down the drain. I hate tests..I hate tests that I have to do for subjects Im not nextnext year even more.

wel its not really a mystery when someones been blown to bits. They arent counted as proper NPCs (as they dont have the full AI of other NPCs) the ones with full AI are in the hotels,clubs and the assasins..oh and the cops.

if you want SA, follow the diamond guy to the back alley, Sedate him take his clothes and put him in the trash. Take the briefcase(if you wish..or you could hide it in a hotel room) and go to the shop next door to the building with the albino. Go into the attic(without the shop owner seeing you) and place a mine on the wall..check the map for when he sits down near the wall and detonate it. go in(without the briefcase because if you leave with it,even though you came in with it, theyll think your stealing it and shoot at you) and take his walkie talkie. Equip the walkie talkie and its shows you on the map where the woman is..go take her out. then once shes in the trash,take her walkie talkie to find where her husband is. to get to him you need to go to the north alley, climb up into the wndow of the club, go down into the kitchen of the club and go up the stairs. Sneak into his room and take him out. Now leave they way you came in, find your suit,get the brief case and congrats...Silent Assasin rank.

well contracts takes place just after one of the missions in this game..which is odd story telling. Its basicalyl game 1 with graphics and level design tweaked up.

There are many ways to kill the person. There aren't really any restrictions. In most (all?) you can run and gun, secretly kill him (silence/poison/push over railing), or accident (push down stairs)

See, now that sounds like so much more fun. I like the freedom to do the killing in anyway you please.

But with Hitman 2, you couldn't, you had to do the kill in an exact and precise way. The games was less action and more about working out the strategy.

Buy the clip upgrades, and always pick up your enemies guns.

Funny story....I was disguised, and dropped my Silverballers behind a casino table, and a guy came running over and picked them up and put them in his shirt. I then follwed the guy, then killed him and I could get them back. Huh, that's pretty cool, watch your stuff doesn't get jacked!

At the end of the mission it charges you money to get it back. It doesnt matter if a police officer takes it away and you cant get it off them, you just pay for it out of your money at the sats screen.

Well, thats just the thing, I'm sure that I've always picked it up after each level. And after each mission, I have never seen the option to buy it back. I can still take the M4 with me on missions, but its just the basic model.
