It baffles me as to why people still buy music magazines. You can get better for free on the internet. And free street press.

There are no good music magazines. Stick to the interwebs and you should be fine. I mean, they're the reason the scene is the way it is today. That could be good or bad, depending on how dumb you are. But if you want to stay on the cutting edge of the scene (or not too far behind), then stick with e-zinessssssss.

I don't really care much for the reviewers on pitchfork but the news and interviews and **** are good. But, you know, this argument has been had a million times.

Well i dunno i dont agree with half the ratings and they're quite pretentious, but i guess we just like completely different music.

The best print magazine I've come across is Wire. If you're in the UK, you can probably attain a copy somewhat easily. If you're in the US you'll have to order it through (http://www.forcedexposure.com) or get a subscription.

I subscribed to Under The Radar recently. Even though the stuff they cover is very much on the radar.
