sometimes when you sing to song totally out of your range your brain can figure out a new key for you to sing in and then its fine but my question is

how does your brain go about doing this??? like say a song is too low for you, like when you relize "i cant sing to this key" and you decide to change it...does your brain automatically decide to make the lowest note to your lowest possible note???? or is it like your most natural range or what?

i figure there must be some ear science to it becuase other wise you might transpose it differntly everytime you sang it..

does anyone have any sudgestions on transposing songs without having to do it by writing out notes/garage band ???? I just do it by ear right now...

I'd not say it's an ear science, but a physical science within your throat.

You adam's apple moves up and down based on the pitch of the note you want to sing. Have you ever noticed that it gets uncomfortable when you try and get to high or go to low. It's just natural reflexes.

You can feel and therefore accomodate for it. It has nothing to do with your ear.
