Ok, so i was bored and thinking of anyother project to start into soo i stumbled across some interesting websites

Now i've found plans, books, and everything else dealing with making an upright bass. I have pretty good experience with building things, and my woodworking skills are up to par

any comments, useful advice or any links/books/plans/videos online to help me out on this one?

I would start by going to the bowed instrument section at mimf.com and just reading and learning from all the knowledgeable people there. No builder should be unaware of mimf :)

oh man, that sounds like a super fun project, but id be too weary about my woodworking skills to even attempt it
