NEW Mario Bros (DS)

This game officially comes out today. It seems that they are revisting old ideas, and revamping it for the new millenium (hardly a new idea), but after seeing screen shots of this game, I'm absolutely sold. I can't say i really cared for any of the 3D marios myself, and I've always love the side-scrolling adventures this stocky plumber gets into :D

If I had a DS, this would be the top of my list of games to buy. It looks superb, and it's 2D like all the great platformers are.

I swear if Sega and Nintendo stopped making 3D platformers and just made one completely massive over-the-top 2D platformer with like 400 levels, I would play it so much!

The E3 2005 demo was pretty cool, and it looks like they've completely overhauled the game since then. I'll be shocked if it turns out to be anything less than great.
