mpeg 4 converter

i am pretty sure this thread has been made before, but i missed it if so, and searching doesn't work in here i guess so i figured i'd ask myself.

i have a movie that i'd like to convert into mpeg 4 but i don't have a converter and was wondering if you guys knew any free ones, as i'm having trouble finding any, and the demos i have downloaded only encode five minutes worth of the file.

ah never mind a mod can close this i found out how to do it on itunes.

edit: well, it won't work so uh if anyone knows any other freeware programs, or ways to get itunes not to freeze while converting, i'd be greatful

WinAVI has a plugin that will convert movies especially for ipod format. You can google it and go here hxxp://crackdb.com to 'extend' your trial ;)
