I hadn't heard anything about this before but apparently it's due out in July. He says it'll be very electronic oriented which is kind of expected. Especially since it's produced by Nigel Godrich. Here's the link

So what do you guys think? Is this bad for Radiohead? (He says no in the article)

They pulled through after Johnny went solo, so I'm sure it won't be bad. Can't wait to hear the stuff.

Sounds interesting, I bet it sounds like a more electronic Radiohead.

I think it'll be interesting, and most probably pretty good too.

It might be alright.
He doesn't have the best voice for solo stuff, but maybe it'll be interesting. Who knows?

I'll give it a listen and decide from there.

I'm very interested in hearing what it sounds like. For some reason, I hope it's something akin to Radiohead's darker, more eerie songs.
All I know is, the solo Thom Yorke concert I heard was amazing, so I expect good things from this.

No way. He's nothing without that eye. He'll become Corgan after losing the hair.

And what, pray tell, would that sound like?

So are you saying that Kid A and Amnesiac weren't electronic? How can you get more electronic that that? What ever.
I think that Thom Yorke is nothing without Johnny Greenwood. But, I think that Johnny Greenwoods solo album for Bodysong was absolutely amazing, so I may be proven wrong. It will be interesing to see what Thom can think of now.
And what happened to Radioheads album being released in like November?

It's the other way round imo, Thom writes all the basic structures to Radiohead's songs so Jonny is nothing without him.
Although he did write The Tourist, which rocks, but I don't think it's fair to say Thom's nothing without Jonny.

er.. what?
If he dosn't have the voice for "solo stuff" how can he have the voice for Radiohead?
A solo project dosn't mean it's just his voice and one instrument, it'll likely be very similar to Radiohead, only probably going in a direction that Radiohead isn't for the next album. I'll be picking this up anyway, I can see it being pretty dark seeing as he is the main creative force in Radiohead.
