modding a wireless mic's range?

Is there a way to modify a wireless mic's range? My friend has one and wants to have more range outta it. It's a power pro audio PPA-308A. It only has 30 meter s of range and he would like more out of it. He's thinking about 50m's or more.

Why would you need that much range anyway? 30 meters is enough, I think.

I think maybe he meant feet coz ya 30 meters is like 90 feet and I don't think you need much more then that, but this is him. Anyways, regardless, is there a way?

i dont think so. if ya could. it would be just a little bit. and my way of thinking would make yoour unit like 100x larger

I'd only imagine you'll be able to increase the length of the antenna to have a slight increase in range.

In the transmitting unit, however, there may be an inductor. Modifying this inductor may also increase the units range.

But you also may find that the range of the unit would be affected depending on the humidity in the air while you are playing it. For example it may be able to transmit further on cloudy days than on sunny hot days.
