They'd be good to throw at them but I recommend throwing TAMA Starcasts mounted toms at em' that way you'd do some real damage to those Idol retards

Lee Kernigen, my dear sir, IS NOT AN IDOL STAR! Hes a bloody country music singer, and a fine one too.

Agreed, Anyone who plays pro is gonna know what a good kit is or not. And would have the money to buy a better one than Pro M

Alot of you guys are complete dick heads.
Not everything is a simple as "Does it sound good?". There is projection and clarity to think about, but from right behind it it could sound great.
And the purpose of this thread was put quite clearly in the very first post.
And he may not play with pop stars, but its something to aspire to. So, lets all be a little nicer and maybe blow our brains out.

good point punk drummer
Incidentally, I work with Shannon Knolls guitarist from time to time and he's an awesome guy.
Although I havent met Shannon himself, Im told he's a really nice guy. With Bryan Adams writing some of his material, I know Id be much happier listening to some of Shannons stuff than the copious amounts of garbage that is R&B/Hiphop/Ben Lee on the charts these days.

Just because a player doesn't know about the technical aspect of something, doesn't mean they are no good at it. Some drummers are in the right place, at the right time and jump from a CB to a DW Collectors.. It's all about ability really.

commercial/top 40 music sucks all together , and Shannon coming from Idol makes him a little more commecial than most.
