very nice...but what is that thing on the last pic?? I know nothing about bongos and that type of percussion

Its just a shaker. I've made some pretty neat stuff using that. It was polyrythmic. Ill have to post some audio/video for you all.

Hey I have the same congas and bongos! The finish matches my kit pretty well too. I dont have them integrated right now though, but every once in a while I do.

That conga off to the right looks rather ... distant.

It's not distant that were my left leg is right now. Its not any further away then a floortom would be.

I have Congas, Darbukas, other various percussion "toys"..cowbell, shaker etc.. I had a Djembe and Congas but lost them in the hurricane because I left them in the school band hall.

Yeah, it's ok though. Have fun with your congas though man, I love them. I wrote an appreciation thread for them a while ago lol. I have some by my bed and during commericials while im watching TV I just rock out, once you get technique down for congas, they are so much fun.
