why not buy one, instead of risking your clasical?

Just buy a pickup. Nothing tricky about it. If you are afraid of messing with your guitar you can have the someone at the store do it.

^ you cant forget about the onboard preamp too, that takes a lil bit of cuttin out to get it in the guitar right

so i think yea, if you aren't too confident about your work, or just dont feel like taking the chance of screwing it up beyond repair, take it to a shop and have them put it in

then if they screw it up, they'll have to reimburse YOU, instead of you messing up and getting screwed out of an acoustic

Do they still make those pickups for acoustic guitar that are spring loaded and fit into the sound hole?

Edit: I guess they do...

remember some of these will not work with a classical. nylon strung will not work with magnetic pickups. you want a piezo that will pick up vibrations.

My friend's sister has the middle one in her guitar I think.
